West Africa is a blossoming frontier for the Catholic Church. Increasingly, the Church is seeing a growing number of Catholics in the region. And with this growth comes definite challenges as church leaders struggle to spread the Good News of Jesus in a deeply rooted the local culture and its intrinsic beliefs that have preceded our missionaries by thousands of years.
Sister Cecilia Nya, SHCJ is the Province Leader of her order in West Africa and she faces head-on the many challenges her mission deals with daily. In this episode, Fr. Mike and Sister Cecilia explore the indigenous leadership that is bringing new life to the Church in West Africa.
