"Church of Tomorrow "

Part 1: Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, 8:30 am PST, TBN
Part 2: Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, 8:30 am PST, TBN
This week's in-studio guest: Robert Blair Kaiser, Church Critic, Author

The Catholic Church is a living and dynamic organization. The message of love that Jesus commanded the Church to preach will remain universal and relevant forever. However, the structure and organization that the Church will use to spread the Good News will never be static. The Church of Jesus is divine, but it is still managed by human hands.

Robert Blair Kaiser is an author and church critic. In this episode, Fr. Mike and Robert explore the Church and the way it will continue to evolve into the "Church of the Tomorrow." Share in the interesting and compelling insights as they discuss the intricate role of the Catholic Church in the world.

"THE POWER OF LOVE" is a weekly TV show from Wordnet Productions that is hosted by Fr. Mike Manning, SVD. It is broadcast on TBN every Wednesday at 8:30 am, on the Armed Forces Network, as well as in Catholic networks in Boston, Brooklyn, Detroit, Fresno, Scranton, Yonkers, Youngstown.

The Wordnet mission: "Embracing the transforming power of the Gospel, we communicate the Word of God to all people through the media in the spirit of the Society of the Divine Word."

Great show from a historical perspective. Blair's book (A Church in Search of Itself) is well worth reading. Vatican II asked for the input of the laity. Blair has much to offer.
